Program File Editor from Alan Phillips is another file editor that makes using any compiler easier.
This was my original favorite and it still has features the others don't. It's a little more difficult to setup and the author doesn't support it anymore but, it's really the only editor I've found that works well with all compilers. It's also the only one that works on a Windows 3.1 machine.
