I hope you find it as handy I as I do.
I updated the Build Your Own PICkit 2 programmer page with a little more information. I'll be uploading the files at some point and hopefully a kit of parts in the future. Right now I'm just adding all the information I have on the topics listed. I have so much stuff scattered around on various flash drives and hard drive folders that this site is really helping me organize all the work I've been doing for the last 15 years.
I hope you find it as handy I as I do.

I'm writing this mainly to get notified of post updates from the site. I'm here because I purchased the 3 volume set (with hardware) from Nuts & Volts on PIC programming. I have several ideas that lead me to this particular technology. If you're curious, I'm also a programmer, though the C I use is for PCs/Servers. The part in the first book about 1 = true and 0 = false threw me off a little, but after reading the compiler documentation; I saw that they had actually written it that way. Traditionally, in computer programming, 0 is reserved to mean 'true'. That changed with Microsoft's introduction of Visual Basic and they took a lot of heat for it. Since then, PHP joins their ranks and, apparently, so does Microchip's compilers. Anyway, thanks very much for the books - I shall read on and experiment.
